At Scullion LAW we are committed to the community around us.
It is important that we give back any way we can via baking, charity football matches, using our legal skills, sleeping out, running 10k or zip sliding across the Clyde. We are an adventurous and generous bunch. So we would like to bring you up to speed with what has been happening lately…
Marie Curie
Marie Curie provide care and support for more than 8,600 people in Scotland each year. Marie Curie need to raise around £15 million a year to fund their Glasgow and Edinburgh hospices and nursing care in Scotland. Over the last four years, every spring, we offer clients over 55 in the community a FREE Will in aid of Marie Curie to help families living in the community with a terminal illness. We would like to thank all our staff and existing clients who kindly and generously donated to this cause. Your contributions now and in the future will really make a huge difference and we have received some lovely words back from Hazel Crombie the Legacy Advisor for Scotland who comments “The Free Wills scheme has gone from strength to strength over the last four years and we really appreciate the hard work of the Scullion LAW team in supporting Marie Curie. Every Gift in Will supports our work ensuring terminally ill people and their families get the vital care and support they need.”
We will also be helping out at the Marie Curie coffee morning at the Bowls Pavilion at Hamilton Palace Sports Ground on 20 October from 10am- midday. Details attached. If you would like to come along please do. It would be great to meet you, family and friends.

Alzheimer Scotland.
We are a dementia friendly law firm and over the last few years we have been doing as much as we can to support this charity. Most recently, our daredevil Gillian Brown volunteered to zip slide across the Clyde raising an amazing £1090 which is a PHENOMENAL amount well done Gillian.
On Sunday 30 September Nicholas our MD is running a charity 10K for Alzheimer Scotland. You can help him raise money by donating here.
We will also be taking a table at the Greatest Showman Ball on 26 October so hopefully we see a few of you there.
Other charities close to our hearts.
Diana McLeish from marketing is also running 10k for SiMBA to help families affected by the loss of a baby which you can support here.
On Saturday 8 December Holly Mowbray, Emma Wright and Nicholas will be ‘Sleeping out in Kelvingrove Park’ to help fight homelessness which is an amazing cause especially during the cold winter months which we expect to be freezing. If you would like to donate you can do so here.
We also continue donating to Mary’s Meals which is a fantastic charity, providing chronically hungry children with one meal every school day, and encouraging education that can lift them out of poverty in later life. Find out more here https://www.marysmeals.org.uk/
Every penny makes a difference.
Thank you.
