Getting to know our team: Farrah Mahmood joined Scullion LAW 2015

I began working with Scullion LAW as a legal intern shortly after completing my Diploma in Legal Practice in April 2015 with the hope of securing a traineeship.

Initially, I worked in the New Business Department and was thereafter offered a two year traineeship to commence towards the end of the year in the fast paced Conveyancing Department.

That is when I thought to myself, I must have done something right!

After completing my traineeship at the end of 2017, I was delighted when Nicholas kindly offered me a full-time Solicitor role within the Conveyancing team. I am now 1 year qualified but treat every day as a school day!

I have been given regular training and support, even after my traineeship has finished which has further broadened my legal experience. The Conveyancing team motto is definitely “teamwork makes the dream work” and we are after all, a work family!

Conveyancing is a challenging area of law to practice but at the same time, it can be very rewarding knowing that I have taken away that stress when selling and purchasing homes for my clients.

My job is very important to me and I want to ensure I do my utmost for clients in making the process seamless. Scullion LAW have always supported me in achieving my goals and recognising my work which certainly makes the job easier.

Scullion LAW are also accommodating to my religious needs during Ramadan and offer flexible working hours to make the month pass that much easier.

I am very fortunate to work at Scullion LAW who continue to support me and understand my goals for my legal career.
