We give throughout the year – not just at Christmas! Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us raise nearly £42,000 for charity throughout 2019.

A wee note from Diana, Marketing Manager at Scullion LAW to thank everyone we work with for their continued contribution to the community.

“At Scullion LAW we are delighted to share some great news!! With thanks to the generosity of our valued clients and awesome colleagues, we have raised a collective total of £41,940 throughout 2019. I am sure that you will agree this is an impressive amount and something of which we should all be proud. So I am writing this blog as a ‘Community Champion’ within Scullion LAW to say well done to everyone who took part in any sort of fundraising event throughout 2019. 

I know you secretly love my gentle encouragement, and I am so proud that so many of us signed up to give back to the community. Well done!!

Together we achieve more. Teamwork makes the dream work. Highlights include. 

The Kiltwalk, Glasgow April 2019 helped us raise £3500 

Thank you to Sarah, Gordon, Liz, Nicholas, and Emma for walking 23 miles with me during the Kiltwalk from Glasgow Green to Loch Lomond. We each raised over £2500 which was topped up by a generous 40% by the Tom Hunter Foundation, which delivered over £3500 to good causes including Marie Curie, Oxfam, Classrooms in Malawi and the Catherine McEwan Foundation which helps fund research into IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Diseases such as Crohn’s & Colitis).

The zip slide across the River Clyde raised £400 

The Memory Walk raised £300

The Firewalk raised £665 

The Marie Curie scheme generated the rest of the money and generated a substantial amount of future income for the hospice from legacies which they will receive in the future. We have been working with Marie Curie now for 6 successful years and shall be rolling the FREE Will campaign out again in Spring 2020 which is available to everyone in Scotland aged 55 or over.
