I have worked part-time from Scullion LAW since June 2015.
I started as a Conveyancing Assistant, having come from a role in my previous firm where I specialised in re-mortgage transactions with 10 years’ experience.
My role was to assist the Solicitors with their transactions and prepare the necessary documentation and help ensure that theprocess was as smooth as possible.
I have now been with the Firm for over 3 years and my role has changed within that time.
I am now responsible for all re-mortgage, transfer of title and discharge instructions that we receive. In addition to that, I also provide the Private Client and Family Law department with assistance where necessary.
I can assist Clients who are looking to create a new Will or require a Power of Attorney.
This year was my first year being part of the team working with Marie Curie in our hugely successful ‘Free Will’ campaign. I was delighted to be part of the team, it was a huge learning curve and I am thankful for the opportunity to help such a fantastic charity.
I am grateful for the opportunities that Scullion LAW have provided me with and the different areas of the business that I have had the chance to learn and be part of. I feel supported in challenges that I undertake which motivates me to continue to learn and adapt.
Alongside my working role, I am also currently studying for my LLB Law degree at Strathclyde University to in order to achieve my goal to become a Solicitor. I will graduate from my degree course in June 2019.
It has been a hard road, but also has given me the realisation of what can be achieved with hard work and effort.
Diana comments ‘Sarah is an asset to Scullion LAW. She is a kind, fun, hard working, focused and motivated individual – juggling motherhood, working part time and studying to become a solicitor. Wow she is inspiring. We love having Sarah in the team’.
