Introducing Judith Higson, expert Family Solicitor. Hamilton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and West End.

I joined Scullion Law in May this year.

The firm’s vision for the future matched my own and I was delighted to join the existing Private Client and Family Law Team. In the seven months that I have been here I have felt the complete support of everyone in furthering that vision of being a top ten law firm delivering an excellent service to every client.

I am responsible for all areas of Family Law at the firm and day to day I advise clients, both married and unmarried, in relation to separation, including any issues around the children and the division of the property.

I also advise couples who intend to live together and are buying a home together or who are thinking of getting married and wish to protect their property.

I regularly negotiate settlements of the financial aspects of separations, sort out the arrangements for the children, draft Minutes of Agreement and apply for Divorce. If necessary, I raise court proceedings.

I am supported by a wonderful team of people who make working at Scullion LAW a pleasure.  

The Family Law team is very much aware of how difficult separation can be and we strive to support clients through the experience from the very first phone call, with a focus on finding positive solutions for the future.

The firm is also accommodating to my own family commitments. Having two young children can often result in the unexpected!

From planting bulbs in Cadzow Glen with my husband and kids in support of the local community, to speaking to fellow solicitors, financial planners and property investors about Collaborative law in a well-known West End venue, the experience here atScullion LAW is one which I value a great deal.
